4PH 40mg Tablet
4PH 40mg Tablet is used to treat conditions related to excessive stomach acid production, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach and provides relief from symptoms and promotes healing. 4PH 40mg Tablet can also be used to prevent stomach ulcers caused by certain medications, such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Take it in the exact dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. It is usually taken on an empty stomach, preferably in the morning or at least 1 hour before a meal. Continue taking the medicine even if your symptoms disappear until the doctor says it is okay to stop. If you are taking this medicine for a long time, your doctor may carry out regular tests to check your levels of magnesium, which can fall with this medicine.Common side effects include headache, constipation or diarrhea, stomach pain, and nausea. These tend to be mild, but talk to your doctor if they bother you or do not go away. The risk of side effects may increase the longer you take this medicine. You may be more likely to have a broken bone if you take it for a long time. It is best to avoid foods that seem to make your symptoms worse, such as rich, spicy, and fatty foods. Cutting down on caffeinated drinks, such as tea, coffee, and cola, as well as alcohol, may also help.4PH 40mg Tablet may not be suitable for some people. Before taking this medicine, you need to tell your doctor if you have severe liver problems, are taking medicines for HIV, have had an allergic reaction to similar medicines in the past, or have osteoporosis. Alcohol does not interfere with the way 4PH 40mg Tablet works; however, drinking alcohol makes your stomach produce more acid than normal. This medicine can make you feel dizzy, sleepy, or affect your vision. If this happens, do not drive, cycle, or use machinery or tools until you feel better. This medicine is not usually recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

In Treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome Zollinger-Ellison syndrome is a rare disorder where excessive stomach acid production leads to multiple peptic ulcers. Symptoms include abdominal pain, diarrhea, and heartburn. 4PH 40mg Tablet By reducing the production of stomach acid, it helps alleviate symptoms such as abdominal pain, heartburn, and diarrhea. Esomeprazole also aids in the healing of peptic ulcers, which are common in this condition. By controlling the excessive acid secretion associated with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, esomeprazole helps improve the overall digestive health and prevents complications such as gastrointestinal bleeding.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. 4PH 40mg Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.

If you miss a dose of 4PH 40mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
What is the best time to take 4PH 40mg Tablet?::: Usually, 4PH 40mg Tablet is taken once a day, first thing in the morning. If you take 4PH 40mg Tablet twice a day, take 1 dose in the morning and 1 dose in the evening. The tablets should be swallowed whole (remember not be chewed or crushed) and taken at least 1 hour before a meal with some water.| Can I take antacids along with 4PH 40mg Tablet?::: Yes, you can take antacids along with 4PH 40mg Tablet. Take it 2 hours before or after you take 4PH 40mg Tablet.| Can I take 4PH 40mg Tablet for a long term?::: 4PH 40mg Tablet is usually prescribed for short-term use only. However, if need arises, such as for treating peptic ulcer disease and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (ZES), 4PH 40mg Tablet may be prescribed for a long-term duration as well. Long-term use may carry an increased risk for side effects and must be discussed with the doctor. Please use 4PH 40mg Tablet as advised by your doctor and under their supervision.| Can I stop taking 4PH 40mg Tablet if I feel better?::: If you have been taking 4PH 40mg Tablet for a long time, stopping it abruptly may lead to increased acid production, thereby worsening your symptoms. Therefore, you must discuss any dose changes or if you wish to come off 4PH 40mg Tablet.| What are the long term side effects of 4PH 40mg Tablet?::: If 4PH 40mg Tablet is used for more than 3 months, certain long-term side effects may be seen. The most important of these is low magnesium levels in your blood, which may make you feel tired, confused, dizzy, or shaky. You may also have muscle twitches or an irregular heartbeat. If the use is further prolonged for more than a year, you may have an increased risk of bone fractures, stomach infections, and vitamin B12 deficiency. Vitamin B12 deficiency can make you anemic, as a result of which you may feel more tired, weak, or pale. Additionally, you may have palpitations, shortness of breath, lightheadedness, indigestion, loss of appetite, flatulence (gas), or nerve problems such as numbness, tingling, and problem in walking.| Can I take alcohol with 4PH 40mg Tablet?::: No, alcohol intake is not advised with 4PH 40mg Tablet. Alcohol itself does not affect the working of 4PH 40mg Tablet, but it can increase the acid production. This may further cause worsening of your symptoms.
4PH 40mg Tablet is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid related indigestion and heartburn.
-Erlotinib (Oral Route): Severe

Do not consume Erlotinib with Esomeprazole. Esomeprazole may reduce blood levels of Erlotinib.
