What is A Rex Syrup used for?::: A Rex Syrup is used for temporary relief of cough, cold, bronchitis, allergies, and other respiratory conditions with mucus and congestion.| Who should avoid taking A Rex Syrup?::: People should avoid taking A Rex Syrup if they are allergic to any ingredient, have asthma, severe liver/kidney disease, glaucoma, urinary issues, or an enlarged prostate. This medicine is also not recommended for children under 12 unless advised by a doctor.| Are there any serious side effects of A Rex Syrup?::: Although they are rare, serious side effects of A Rex Syrup may include severe drowsiness, confusion, rapid heartbeat, difficulty urinating, or allergic reactions. Seek medical help immediately if these happen.| Can A Rex Syrup cause drowsiness or affect sleep?::: Yes. A Rex Syrup can cause drowsiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery after taking it.

Diphenhydramine, ammonium chloride, terpin hydrate and sodium citrate which relieve cough. Diphenhydramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Ammonium chloride and terpin hydrate are expectorants which decrease the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and help in its removal from the airways. Sodium citrate is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.
