Aanclox KID 125mg/125mg Tablet contains two active antibiotics that are effective against a multitude of bacterial infections, including those of the ears, nose, sinus, tonsils, throat, lungs, heart, skin, and bones. It can also effectively treat infections caused by resistant bacteria. Aanclox KID 125mg/125mg Tablet works best on an empty stomach, so try to give it to your child 30 minutes to 1 hour before they eat. However, give it with food if it upsets your child?s stomach. It is generally given three times a day. Stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor as these depend on the severity of the infection, its type, and your child?s body weight and age. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, repeat the dose when your child feels better. However, do not double the dose if it is the time for the next dose.Aanclox KID 125mg/125mg Tablet can cause some minor and temporary side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and mild skin rash. These side effects almost always go away on their own. But, in case these side effects persist or become bothersome for your child, report to the doctor without a delay.Tell your child?s doctor if your child has had any previous episode of allergy, heart problem, blood disorder, birth defects, airway obstruction, lung anomaly, gastrointestinal problem, skin disorder, and kidney malfunction. Knowledge of your child?s medical history will help the dose make dose alterations and plan your child?s overall treatment.

In Treatment of Bacterial infections Aanclox KID 125mg/125mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics, Ampicillin and Cloxacillin. These antibiotics work by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Together, they treat your infection effectively. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aanclox KID 125mg/125mg Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.

Aanclox KID 125mg/125mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is advised while taking this medicine. | - Liver : CAUTION

Aanclox KID 125mg/125mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.

Unless your child?s doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, you can give the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for the next dose. Do not give a double dose to catch up and follow the prescribed dosing schedule.
Is it safe to give Aanclox KID 125mg/125mg Tablet to children suffering from jaundice?::: It is advised not to give Aanclox KID 125mg/125mg Tablet to children if they have jaundice. The reason being, Aanclox KID 125mg/125mg Tablet contains an active ingredient called cloxacillin which can aggravate the symptoms of jaundice in your child.| Is Aanclox KID 125mg/125mg Tablet safe for children suffering from infectious mononucleosis?::: No, it is not advised to give Aanclox KID 125mg/125mg Tablet if your child is suffering from infectious mononucleosis or even leukemia as Aanclox KID 125mg/125mg Tablet can lead to the development of skin rashes.| Can I give Aanclox KID 125mg/125mg Tablet to my child repeatedly for a long time?::: Giving your child Aanclox KID 125mg/125mg Tablet for a long term can cause fungal infection (oral thrush) in the mouth and severe gastrointestinal infections (superinfections). However, children taking antibiotics should not get vaccinated until they recover from the illness. As soon as your child feels better, the vaccine can be given.
