It works in Wilson's disease by helping the body to remove excess copper, and in cystinuria by preventing cystine stone formation through increased solubility.

If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Concurrent use may increase the risk of damage to the liver and blood cells.

| -Teriflunomide (Oral Route): Severe

If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Concurrent use may increase the risk of damage to the liver and blood cells.

| -Clozapine (Oral Route): Moderate

Do not consume Clozapine with Penicillamine. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your blood cell count frequently. Concurrent use may increase the risk of low blood cell counts.

| -Digoxin (Oral Route): Moderate

If concurrent use is essential, ensure a gap of at least 2 hours between taking Digoxin and Penicillamine. Your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Penicillamine may reduce blood levels of active form of Digoxin.

| -Aceclofenac (Oral Route): Moderate
