Aarbether LF 80mg/480mg Tablet is used for the treatment of malaria in both children and adults. It contains two medicines both of which belong to a group of medicines called antimalarials. However, it is not used to prevent malaria or to treat severe/complicated malaria (when the brain, lungs, or kidneys are affected). Aarbether LF 80mg/480mg Tablet works by killing the malaria-causing parasites thereby preventing further spread of the infection. It should be taken with food as this will help your body better absorb the medicine. Take it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. Complete the full course of treatment to make sure the infection is treated completely.Headache, loss of appetite, weakness, joint pain, or muscle pain are some of the common side effects associated with this medicine. You may also feel dizzy after taking this medicine. Inform your doctor if these persist or worsen.?Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor about all the medicines that you may be taking for any other health conditions. However, it should not be used to prevent malaria and should be taken only when prescribed by a doctor. This medicine makes you feel better within a few days of treatment. But, if you have fever, chills, muscle pain, or headache soon after you finish your treatment, this could be a sign that you still are infected with malaria. Consult your doctor immediately if you notice any such symptoms.\u003cbr>\u003cbr>Refrain from taking any other medicines or antacids along with this medicine (unless advised by the doctor) as they may affect the absorption of this medicine. Do not use this medicine for treating any other condition without consulting your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Aarbether LF 80mg/480mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
How to take Aarbether LF 80mg/480mg Tablet?::: Take Aarbether LF 80mg/480mg Tablet with food, exactly as prescribed by your doctor. This medicine is usually taken twice a day with a meal for 3 days, or as directed. On your first day of treatment, take your first dose with food, followed by your second dose 8 hours later. Then for the next 2 days, take one dose in the morning and one dose in the evening. Patients should be encouraged to resume normal eating as soon as food can be tolerated, since this improves the absorption of the medicine.| Can I take Aarbether LF 80mg/480mg Tablet while I am pregnant?::: No, Aarbether LF 80mg/480mg Tablet is considered to be harmful for women in their first trimester of pregnancy.
