Flunight 50mg Tablet is a type of antidepressant belonging to the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) group of medicines. It is prescribed to treat depression, where it helps to make you feel better. This medicine is also used to treat people with obsessive-compulsive disorder. Flunight 50mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose and how often you need it will be decided by your doctor so that you get the right amount to control your symptoms. Your doctor may start you on a lower dose and increase it gradually. Do not change the dose or stop taking it without talking to your doctor, even if you feel well. Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, fatigue, dry mouth, increased sweating, tremors, insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), decreased sexual drive, delayed ejaculation, and erectile dysfunction. Some people may experience sleepiness after taking this medicine. Let your doctor know if you develop any sudden worsening of mood or any thoughts about harming yourself. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you have epilepsy (seizure disorder or fits), diabetes, liver or kidney disease, heart problems, or glaucoma. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor. - Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Flunight 50mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. - Driving : SAFE - Flunight 50mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive. - Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Flunight 50mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. In OCD, a person experiences unwanted thoughts and the irresistible desire to perform certain actions over and over. These thoughts and desires do not go away and make it bothersome for the person.| Q. Can Flunight 50mg Tablet get you high?::: There is no evidence that Flunight 50mg Tablet causes dependence. Who should not take Flunight 50mg Tablet?::: You should not take Flunight 50mg Tablet if you are allergic to it, if you are taking another medicine to treat depression called a Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor (MAOI), or if you have stopped taking an MAOI within the last 14 days. This is because taking both these medicines close in time together may cause serious and sometimes fatal reactions like high body temperature, convulsions, and even coma.| Q. Does Flunight 50mg Tablet have any serious health risks associated with it?::: Yes, the use of Flunight 50mg Tablet may cause serious health risks. These may include increased risks of suicidal thoughts and actions, mania, bleeding problems, convulsions, visual problems, and low sodium levels in the blood.| Q. How quickly does Flunight 50mg Tablet work?::: It takes a long time for Flunight 50mg Tablet to start working. However, you may see an improvement in your sleep, appetite and energy levels within 1-2 weeks of starting Flunight 50mg Tablet.
